Longji Terraced Field is attractive by its numeral layers from bottom to the top of the hills. These fields are works of hundreds of years’ wise management and hard work. With irrigation working inside the field, the shinning terraces lace the mountain slopes like silver ribbons in spring. And summer breezes ripple the surface of the paddies in great waves. In autumn layers of yellow crops make golden cones. In winter, the ribbons become white dragons. Longji Terraced Field is magnificent and elegant in scene, forming some of the finest scenery in China.
